This Oscar nominated documentary serves not only as a remembrance but a lesson and a warning for the future. It follows the plight of European Jews during the terrifying period from 1933 until the final defeat of the Third Reich in 1945.
Never before had the world seen such contempt for human life on such a grand scale, the murder of an estimated 6 million Jews, with countless others persecuted.
During the 1930s a wave of national fervour swept through a tumultuous Germany; people looked for answers, and the politicians were all too willing to point the finger of blame towards the Jewish population.

Here we go again with the Holocaust.I find posting this stuff offensive………enough already…as the introduction to this documentary states “but a lesson and a warning for the future” .what……..that jews would have a chip on their shoulders for the rest of their lives or is it that we should have taken heed that they would invade a land after looking all over Africa to invade……and decide to claim a country and call it israel…….then kick,murder,torture do whatever they want with the prople that lived peacefully on it for years…….maybe Hitler was right and foretold what the jews were going to do……..when america gets tired of that made up country called israel……the shit will finally hit the fan and israel will be wiped (hopefully) from the face of the earth and the world will laugh with joy as the israeli poeple will deserve it………:)

Thanks Faith. I find history very fascinating as well. I think I have another 3 or 4 similiar docs on an old hard drive, I’ll make sure to post them up when I find them.
